Interior Design Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of interior design services by Insyde Studio to the Client. By engaging our services, the Client agrees to the following:

1. Scope of Services

Insyde Studio shall perform all professional services with reasonable care, skill, and competence. Services may include design consultation, space planning, procurement, project coordination, and execution as agreed in writing.
The Client must ensure safe and adequate access to the project site for personnel, materials, and delivery vehicles.

2. Fees and Charges

Design and execution fees will be quoted based on the carpet area or as per the agreed project scope. The fee structure and total cost will be clearly outlined in the proposal shared with the Client.
Any additional site visits, modifications, or scope changes beyond the agreed contract may attract additional charges, subject to prior approval.

3. Payment Terms
  • a. A minimum deposit of 50 percent is payable upon approval of the design proposal.
  • b. 45 percent is payable upon completion of customized and bespoke manufacturing, prior to delivery and installation.
  • c. The remaining 5 percent is payable upon completion of installation.

Payment schedules may vary depending on project scale and customization requirements. Any variation will be communicated in advance.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client shall:

  • Provide accurate site measurements and relevant property details.
  • Give timely approvals and decisions required for project execution.
  • Ensure site readiness before installation.

Delays caused by lack of approvals or incomplete site conditions shall not be the responsibility of Insyde Studio.

5. Third Party Consultants and Vendors

Where third party contractors or specialists are appointed by the Client, Insyde Studio shall not be responsible for their performance or workmanship.
If Insyde Studio appoints vendors directly, it shall ensure proper execution within reasonable professional standards.

6. Intellectual Property

All drawings, layouts, concepts, and design materials created by Insyde Studio remain its intellectual property. The Client is granted a limited license to use the designs solely for the contracted project.
Designs may not be reproduced or reused without written consent.

7. Delivery Timelines

Project timelines are approximate and subject to supplier schedules, material availability, site conditions, and external factors beyond reasonable control.
Insyde Studio shall not be liable for consequential losses arising from delays outside its control.

8. Custom Orders and Cancellations

Custom made and bespoke products cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced. Full payment is required for such items.
Standard products may attract cancellation charges as per supplier policy.

9. Risk and Ownership

Risk in goods passes to the Client upon delivery to the project site.
Ownership of goods remains with Insyde Studio until full payment for all goods and services has been received.

10. Material Variations

Natural materials such as wood, marble, stone, leather, and veneer may vary in grain, texture, and color. Such variations are inherent and not considered defects.

11. Storage and Relocation

If goods are relocated to a third party storage facility at the Client’s request, Insyde Studio’s liability ceases upon delivery to that facility.

12. Delivery and Inspection

All goods must be inspected at the time of delivery. Any damage or discrepancy must be reported in writing within four days of delivery.

13. Limitation of Liability

Insyde Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Liability, if any, shall be limited to the value of the specific goods or services provided.

14. Data Sharing and Privacy

To execute the project, Insyde Studio may share the Client’s contact details with approved suppliers, technicians, and delivery personnel strictly for project related purposes.
Contact information will not be shared for any unrelated purpose without prior consent.

15. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract in writing. Payments for completed work and committed orders shall remain payable. Custom orders already in production cannot be cancelled.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Karnataka, India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Bengaluru courts.
